General FAQs
Concierge medicine doctors differ from traditional doctors in their exclusive approach, tending to only a few hundred patients compared to the thousands typically managed by traditional practices. This exclusivity allows for more personalized attention and a deeper understanding of each patient's unique health needs, fostering enhanced care and tailored solutions.

To make an appointment, please call our office at (561) 745-7878 between 8 am and 5 pm, Monday through Friday.
For patients new to our practice, getting started is as easy as scheduling a free meet-and-greet with one of our physicians.
Established patients may also visit our secure online patient portal at any time of the day or night to request an appointment, message our team, and much more. If the matter is urgent, call your concierge doctor’s cell phone number you were provided when you joined Adult Medicine Concierge.
Our regular hours of operation are 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday.
Weekend visits and house calls are scheduled on an as-needed basis. Visits to your home or other locations are determined by the circumstances of the patient, in the case of illness or convenience.
Please note that new patient visits and annual executive physical exams will always be conducted in the office.
In the event your concierge doctor is unavailable due to travel or personal circumstances, we will appoint a trusted, highly trained, and highly qualified physician to provide you with the care you need until your internist is able to contact you again.
Our physicians are happy to provide any necessary referrals, so you can see the specialist you prefer for your specific needs. Your internist may also help you decide which specialists to see, coordinate your consultations, and send your medical information in advance of your specialist visit.

It is your responsibility to pay for your medications, diagnostic testing (including lab tests, X-rays, etc.), treatments, specialist care, hospitalizations, and other services. Procedures and services performed in any other medical office or facility will be billed by that provider or entity and covered by your insurance plan as specified. For this reason, the vast majority of our patients choose to keep their health insurance to help cover these costs.
What differentiates an executive physical exam from a regular physical exam is its thorough testing, which lasts approximately 1-2 hours. Our in-depth and comprehensive examination allows us to make targeted, personalized recommendations that allow you to live your healthiest, happiest life. You may view the results of your executive physical exam, including test results and notes from our concierge doctor, at your convenience through our online patient portal.
Every patient’s needs are different. That said, the average time you spend with your concierge internist when you visit our office is 30 minutes or longer. This is significantly more time than you can expect at a conventional medical practice, where your time with your physician typically runs between 5-10 minutes.
Spouses are considered individual patients, so each requires their own membership. Members with adult children between the ages of 18 and 25 get free membership for those children as a part of their Adult Medicine Concierge membership.

“I would highly recommend Adult Medicine Concierge for your concierge doctor. She not only is my day-to-day doctor but acts as a liaison between other doctors that I may be involved with. She is what I call "my quarterback" – she is my main point of contact for everyday healthcare but also for preventive healthcare.”
