When to Use Telemedicine Consultations
While telemedicine services are convenient, they aren’t appropriate for every scenario. We often recommend patients consider telemedicine appointments with their concierge doctor if they:
- Are traveling abroad or out of town
- Have a secondary residence outside of Jupiter, Florida
- Have time constraints that prevent a visit to the office
It is important to note, however, that an in-person visit is required as a new patient and for your annual executive physical exam. Telemedicine visits are also not recommended in the event you are experiencing a health emergency. Instead, please contact emergency services at 911 immediately.
